Detweiler Football

We took several videos over the Christmas break. Here is one where William, Uncle Tim and I play football in Grandma and Poppop's front yard. It is about 5 minutes long. I will be posting the others soon.

Outer Banks

We went to the Outer Banks over the weekend. William and I flew a kite on the beach until the kite flew to high and William thought it was going away. The next day we climbed to the top of Currituck Light. Enjoy the photos from our trip.

The family went to Driver Days today, a local festival in a small town in Suffolk. William had a blast on the moon bounce rides.

Weekend Trip

We recently took a trip near Appomattox, Virginia for a wedding. We stopped at Appomattox Court House the site of General Lee's surrender to General Grant. While we were there, I took several photos with someone wanting to get in every shot. Lets see if you can guess who.

Our New Family

Well we have been home now for over 24 hours and all four of us have survived. William does not seem to be jealous of Dylan which is great. He actually wants to help and just does not understand why Dylan can not play with the car that he gave him. Dylan has been a dream as well, he sleeps like a champ, even through a 3 year-olds temper tantrum. Last night he only got up at about 2:30 and 6 to eat and then went to sleep almost immediately after. Meredith is recovering well, sore which is to be expected but mobile. George is great as well, he plays with Will and keeps him entertained while Meredith takes care of Dylan or gets some rest for recovery. We hope to hear from you all soon and see you as well. Meredith can't drive and even does not ride so well so visitors are welcome just give us a call and let us know you are on the way.

New addition!

The new addition to the Detweiler family has arrived! Dylan at 9lbs 8oz and 21 1/4 inches. More pictures to come.

It has been Awhile!

Looking at our last post, it have been over a year since we posted any new news. We are expecting our second child any day now and wanted to let everyone know. Also, I am changing this site to more of a blog so all news will be at The Detweiler Family Blog. I am going to switch the domain name so the address you all have will still be valid. It is just going to take a couple of days for the switch to happen. We'll keep everyone posted on the baby front and hopefully start posting more frequently.
